This duo does not disappoint: Victoria, Victoria Beckham for Nails Inc. Duo Collection

Favourite Spice Girl.

Lover of polished nails.

A nail polish formula that doesn't quit.

This stuff is seriously bottled magic and a lemming in the making. Let's start with the anatomy of the bottle -- removable false cap for looks (think Butter London), matte black and white porcelain exteriors for a sleeker look and feel, complete with viewfinder-like sides serving as windows into the souls of these two opposing nail colours.

These polarising brushes are chubby and contoured to speed the nail painting process along, and promote control to assist with staying inside the lines. Reduced clean up, FTW!

Typical drying time is to be expected, but the wait is so worth it. This polish lasts. By day four expect to see the unavoidable tip wear from shuffling paper about, typing and dish washing. And by day 7, nary a chip in sight.

The boxed packaging, while nice, is a bit of a gimmick to get you to spend more money. Originally I intended to have Scott purchase Bamboo White, but the Sephora gods in Sydney wouldn't have it -- Judo Red and Bamboo White were a package deal with an eye popping price tag of $60.00! Is this duo really worth it?

Yes. Individually, I suspect a LE bottle would set you back $27.50 at least. So, if you love all things Victoria, pale pink and coral red, scoop these up while you can.

Nails Inc is onto something with their revamped formula and packaging. Now, here's some food for though, NailKale. Anyone?

Lady Sings the Blues

Wearing ncLA's Lead Singer, Me

Wearing ncLA's Lead Singer, Me

It's been a long time since I've worn a nail polish shade that really excited me. ncLA's Lead Singer, Me, a yet to be released shade, left me utterly speechless when I spied it on Mira's nails, my manicurist, last week - yes please, I'll have exactly that.

Lead Singer, Me features a creamy navy blue base with cerulean blue and greenish flakies. It's a striking shade that helped to cap off a fairly chilly Melbourne winter. Seven days of minor tip wear places Lead Singer, Me in the 'gotta have this polish, right now' category.

It's '5-free', chip resistant, trendy and lasts. Pity a single bottle will set you back $16, but it's worth it.

Essie's Lollipop

My favourite shade of red nail polish

Can you tell I'm excited about this one?

To my surprise it was 50% off at Priceline. Should've bought picked up Mint Candy Apple.

D'oh!

Copa, Copacabana: OPI's Brazil Collection

OPI couldn't have timed the release of their Brazil Collection any better, especially with this whole World Cup Business going on. Soccer doesn't really tickle my fancy, but some of these nail polishes sure do!

Grab your maracas, maybe even a whistle or a bell and your dancing shoes, because it's time to samba!

Kiss Me I'm Brazilian is a creamy pink, while pretty it certainly didn't bowl me over. Honestly, if it had been more cooperative I think I'd be more inclined to sport this shade on my nails for longer than a hot second. I found the polish to be sticky, so much that it had a hard time letting go of the brush, which created pulls and streaks. In the end I applied three coats to get some semblance of a smooth and even finish. Is it just me or is this pink an exact match to the pink frosting used on the Stella D'Oro cookies? P-Cakes, help me out here!

Where Did Suzi's Man-go? is a creamy tangerine orange. The formula had a tendency to mimic Kiss Me I'm Brazilian; despite some strife I was able to reach full opacity in two coats. Personally I'd prefer to wear this orange hue during the height of summer when my skin isn't so pasty white.

AmazOn...AmazOff is my personal favourite of the bunch. The formula is almost jelly-like because of it's subtle translucency. This "deep jungle green" has a hint of shimmer throughout, it's really a whisper of sparkle -- I only spotted the shimmer upon closer inspection. Here's a tip, apply a base coat before painting AmazOn...AmazOff, I can attest to the fact that it will stain your nails.

Next Stop...The Bikini Zone is described as an "amethyst-toned pewter." This three coater would look stellar layered over a creamy purple, black, white or cream polish.

OPI's Brazil Copacababies is a great buy for the indecisive set.

Now, which colour should I wear?
